June 15, 2016 – pittsburgh.cbslocal.com – A western Pennsylvania county has asked Donald Trump’s campaign to stop using a picture the presumptive Republican presidential nominee had taken with several county police officers.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette says the photo with the Allegheny County officers was taken at a Saturday rally Trump held at Pittsburgh International Airport.

The campaign included the photo in an email Monday headlined “Make America Safe Again” that touted Trump’s campaign and called the country’s leadership “weak.”
The county’s police superintendent issued a news release Tuesday, saying officers “shall not jeopardize the impartiality of Allegheny County Police” by campaigning. But the release acknowledges officers are often invited to take photos with candidates and only the photo’s use by the campaign is being challenged.
