A 22-year employee with Hamilton County’s Clerk of Courts office was arrested for allegedly warning suspects of search warrants targeting them. Yakyma Boyd, 45, faces two counts of tampering with records.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Boyd in October after learning about the allegations against her. Deputies said she’d provide confidential information about the search warrants and she’d then give that information to another person who’d warn the targets of the investigation. That person appears to be Earnest Bryant, who also faces charges of tampering with evidence.
Deputies say the Clerk of Courts office is cooperating with the investigation.
Both Boyd and Bryant have been taken to jail.
