Maryland, Salvador Rodriguez has been driving kids in his school bus for 10 years, but Friday he was accused of sexually abusing two of his students.
Montgomery County detectives said the victims are 11 years old.
“If he is in charge of children, who are you going to trust,” asked neighbor Monica Herrera.
The police were tipped off on February 9. Montgomery County Public Schools put Rodriguez on administrative leave, but parents just found out about the investigation because the 59-year-old suspect was just arrested.
“I just really hope that nothing really inappropriate took place,” said a Montgomery County parent.
Rodriguez drove kids for Rock View Elementary School, Newport Mill Middle School and Albert Einstein High School.
The police believe he inappropriately touched one girl on the bus at least three times, and a second girl at least once.
They are also asking other parents to talk to their kids to make sure there are not more victims.
Detectives even said Rodriguez admitted to inappropriately touching the students during an interview Friday morning.
The suspect is charged with sexual abuse of a minor, 3rd degree sex offenses and 4th degree sex offenses by a person of authority.
